My name is Monique, I Live in Greensboro NC, went to North Carolina A & T state university where i graduated with my BS Architectural Engineering & BS Civil "Structural" Engineering, im 25 years old, height 5'5", I want to lose weight to become healther so i dont have health problems like many of my relatives and also so i can reach my SHOPPING DREAMS!!

My goal is to change this 255lb body you see above to a 131lb body in the next year. Stick with me and you will see me transform. I will be telling all the good the bad and the ugly. Maybe my journey will inspire you to start your own.
I started Insanity this week after completing a 10 day Zumba workout. I did zumba before starting insanity to get my cardio up for insanity.

MESSAGE BOARD: molove2025 Working out when i get up and logging it helps me see what i can eat for the day....and seeing today 2167 calorie goal im excited. I love food and since ive been stressed & haven't been eating like i want and need to its good to know i can put some food in my belly...lol. today was my 2nd day of insanity. I didnt know what to expect but i went in anyways. I pushed myself until i couldnt anymore. So i only did the first 30 min of the Plyometric Cardio which is 45 min long. The PC work out doesnt come back up till friday and i will strive to push on to 45 adding atleast 5 more min to the 30. Good burn today. I feel like i just did a 60 min workout.

Day 3 in my insanity work out. I didnt feel like working out but i did it anyways so it will be done. NO EXCUSES! I made it through the entire 43 min of Cardio Power & Resistance. This video comes back up on Monday and i strive to push harder and still do the entire 43 min.

Today was good. I completed the entire 32 min of Cardio Recovery. It was tough but next time i will push even harder to hold all poses. I did zumba live for 30 min to have some medium cardio today. Also noticed my heart rate is lowering for the intensity that i am at (ie. 160/90%) . Great work out overall!

Today was the 5th day of insanity. I pushed hard doing the pure Cardio......i will strive next time to push even harder. My actual HR during the exercise was 177/93% so i know i was pushing myself. Great job!!
MESSAGE BOARD: molove2025 I had to do some unexpected running with bags in my hand....and lets say im glad ive been working out.....didnt feel crazy at all or out of breath....well maybe for a sec. YAY to INSANITY & Zumba for bringing my endurance up!

Today i completed the first week of INSANITY.....YAY!!!! Today i did the Plyometric cardio again and i finished the entire 45 min. It was hard but i dug deep and keep pushing until the end. My HR was around 166/88% to 188/96% during the workout. 8 more weeks until the end. Cant wait till monday to see how the first week affected my body.
MESSAGE BOARD: molove2025 ooh....i just noticed that this week i kept my snacks to a min of 0-2 per day....yay! for not adding on extra unnecessary foods

Off day from Insanity...much needed....proud of myself for pushing threw the first week. Week 2 here i come.
MESSAGE BOARD: molove2025 I meet my weekly goal this past week of staying under my calorie goal and drinking atleast 8 glasses a day. Im glad i meet this goal....its just one more thing to push me to work harder.
